In advertising, it's a fast-paced world but a heck of a lot of fun. As an account specialist, it is your job to cater to all the needs of your clients and help make their brand the best you can be.
I have learned all this through my education at Webster University. My BA is in Advertising and my MA is in Media Communications.
I graduated in December of 2017 and I am currently looking for an account or project management career as well as a position in marketing.
I have had an internship with the fortune 500, Aflac, managing clients and services, as well as two ad agency internships. You can read more about these in my experience section and resume.

Aflac was my first internship in the account world. I was responsible for maintaining and servicing my district manager’s 200+ accounts. My tasks included client management, servicing claims, onboarding new clients, helping maintain current plans, selling upgrades as well as helping clients navigate through problems by being the corporate liaison.
Business Development and Copywriting Intern

CPG is a corporate events and communications firm. My role here was to help aid in the business development and pipeline process, as well as research for outreach sales. My secondary role was the copywriting intern. I helped brainstorm content for collateral regarding client events as well as wrote weekly blogs and maintained CPG’s social presence.
Sales Assistant and Project Manager

Currently, I am the assisting intern with sales and pipeline development. I help guide prospects through the proposal process as well as help write proposals. I maintain our CRM in Hubspot and keep it up-to-date as well. Other tasks of mine include helping market Stealth as a firm and project management. I am the lead project manager on this and help ensure our deliverables are being constructed as well as ensure the messaging is on strategy and deadlines are met.

This was my part-time job throughout college. I was the sales lead (manager when managers are off) that was responsible for pushing sales as well as managing the store. I was responsible for handling customer complaints, assisting customers as well as running the store.
